At the outset we simply needed to replace our online health and safety training system, however once we’d tested the market and identified the WorkWize system we realised that there was an opportunity to implement a system that would have a wider impact across all online training delivery.
How WorkWize met the requirements
The system has met all of our needs, particularly with regard to the development of our customised training and the ability to tailor the off-the-shelf modules to suit our environment. In addition the ability to connect directly to our HR information system means that new starters are automatically added to the training system and enrolled on the core modules.
The customer experience, particularly with regard to the technical support, has been absolutely first class. The support team has responded promptly and expertly to each of the questions we’ve had as well as taking on board our feedback on possible future developments.
Has the system met the overall need
The system is now being used to deliver a wide range of training modules across the university. In addition to our original health and safety needs it has been used to deliver modules on subjects as diverse as data protection, payment card security, mental health awareness, and HR modules such as PDR reviewer and reviewee training. In the first six months we have delivered nearly 10,000 units of training across 2,700 staff.
